Today, 3/10/2012, my 4 years and 11 month old daughter ran a 5k, in 37 mins. Her 8 year old sister ran it in 27 mins. Not bad eeeehhhh!!!!

Rheinhardt Harrison, born 2/15/2004, ran a 27:19.5 at the Bull Run Festival Of Lights 5k on 12/31/09.

On September 24th, 2010, 5 year old Mika Bardin ran Palo Alto's 5k in 36:21 (pace of 11:41 per mile.) To my knowledge , she holds the fastest 5k finish time for a 5 year old girl (or boy, for that matter). See below for exact info.-
