There's no such thing as the "formula for a cube".

There are formulae for the surface area, the volume, and the length of the cube's sides,

in terms of each other. There are also formulae for the number of edges, the number of

vertices, and the number of faces of a cube, in terms of its definition.

That's at least six different formulae that come along with a cube.

The volume of a cube is (length of side)3.

What is the formula for finding the volume of a cube using mass and density?

Well its quite easy: Density=Mass/Volume Volume=Mass/Density SO if mass and density of a cube are given you can easily find its volume.

Formula of volume of cube?

If 'S' = length of the cube's side, then its volume = S3 .

A cube has a volume of 64 cubic inches Find the length of an edge?

The area of a cube is given by the formula volume = width × height x depthBut since the width, height and depth are by definition the same in a cube, the formula is usually written as V= s3To determine the length of a side given the volume we just have to reverse the formula:s = 3√volumes = √64cm3 = 4cm

What is the formula of the volume the cube?

Volume of a cube: edge*edge*edge measured in cubic units

What is formula of volume measurement?

It depends on the shape. The formula for the volume of a sphere is quite different from that for the volume of a cube.

How do you determine the length of the edge of a cube that has a volume of 1280?

The volume of a cube is given by side3, so given the volume take its cube root; thus: volume = 1280 = side3 ⇒ side = 3√1280 units.

What is the volume of a cube with a height of 2 units?

The volume of a cube is given by the formula V = s^3, where s is the length of the side of the cube. Since a cube has all sides equal, the height of 2 units is equal to the length of the side. Therefore, the volume of the cube is 2^3 = 8 cubic units.

What is the formula for the cube?

There is no single formula for a cube. There are different formulae for its surface area, its volume, and so on.

What is the volume of a cube with a surface area of 42cm squared?

This should be solved in two steps. 1) Use the formula for the area of a cube, and solve for the length of a side of the cube. 2) Using this length, it is easy to find out the volume, with the formula for the volume of a cube.
