The GCF of 18 and 63 is 9.

The factors of 63 are: 1, 3, 7, 9, 21, & 63

The factors of 18 are: 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, & 18

The GCF (AKA Greatest Common Factor) is 9.

Using prime factorization for 18 you get 2, and two 3's as your primes. For 63 you get 7, and two 3's as your primes. As the two 3's are in common you between both of the numbers, you do 3 multiplied by 3 which is 9. Therefore the gcf for 18, and 63 is 9.
