There is no highest common multiple of any two or more numbers, for whatever value you come up with I can always add the LOWEST common multiple of the numbers to get an even higher common multiple.

If you meant LOWEST common multiple, then LCM(8, 12, 16) = 48

If you mean the highest common FACTOR (the largest integer that divides into all the numbers) then HCF(8, 12, 16) = 4
