This is the answer written in fraction form.17/5.It is easy to write that in a mixed number. The whole number is 3. The fraction is 2/5.

Multiplying by percentage is easy. All you have to do is convert the percentage into a fraction and then into a whole number.

easy. first you divide the denominator into the numerator. then you write the whole number you got and then if you have a remainder you put that as the numerator and the same denominator in the improper fraction. you WELCOME.

you simply put the whole number over oneOk, how do you do 15-3 3/4???easy, ya just have to put the whole number over one and turn the mixed number into a fraction, then solve itchange the whole number into a mixed number

easy, just divide them both by the same number so u get a whole #, it is 7/10

No, four sevenths is not a benchmark fraction beacause benchmark fractions are used to estimate and they are easy to picture in your mind. 4 out of seven is not a very good estimate for something and it is not easy to picture in your head. Right?

You would have to convert the mixed number into a fraction, or you could convert the fraction into a mixed number. The first one is easier in my opinion. For example: 2 3/4 is 11/4. Converting a fraction into a mixed number is just as easy but it is harder to multiply To multiply a mixed fraction by a fraction you will need to multiply the denominator (the bottom number of a fraction) by the whole number then add the numerator (the top number of a fraction) and that will be your new numerator. Then multiply the two fractions (straight across). Finally put you final answer in simplest form if needed.

Simplifying fractions and finding the GCF is easy. All you have to do is put the fraction into simplest form and then put in a whole number.

A mixed number is a whole number plus a fraction. Really, a percent should seldom be a mixed number, because any percent less than 100% is less than 1 whole thing, so there wouldn't be any whole number. But once in a while you do run into a percent that's more than 100%, so here's the general process. Let's do 567%. First take the biggest number of hundreds that fit into the percent, that is, take away hundreds until you're left with less than 100. In the example, that's 500. Five hundred percent means five whole things, so the whole-number part of the mixed number is 5. Now we have 67% left. This will be the fraction part of the mixed number. Writing the fraction is easy. The remaining number of percent is the numerator of the fraction, and the denominator is '100'. So the mixed number for 567% is: 5 and 67/100.

you divide the last number into the tope number and you get the answer easy as pie

512 is a good estimate: the number is easy to work with - particularly if you remember that it is 2^9.

easy!!! okay so if you have 2.15 it would be a fifteenth of a whole number... so it would be 2 wholes and 15/100

I'm not sure what you mean by "mixed fractions." A mixed number is a whole number with a fraction. You could convert that to an improper fraction and simplify it, but the result will be the same as if you just ignore the whole number and simplify the fraction. For example, 1 and 6/8 = 14/8 = 7/4 = 1 and 3/4. Ignoring the 1, 6/8 simplifies to 3/4. Just make sure to put the whole number back when you're done. If you don't know how to simplify a fraction, find the GCF of the numerator and the denominator and divide them by it. If the GCF is 1, the fraction is already in its simplest form. If you don't know how to find a GCF, that question has been answered many times and should be easy to find.

You don't need to estimate! The exact value is easy. 0.4 = 4/10 which is 2/5

Multiply the numerator (top) and the denominator (bottom) of the fraction by any non-zero number. You will have an equivalent fraction.

Just before the nuber put a ' - '. There you go. Easy!

easy 6=6/1 7=7/1 8=8/1 100,000,000,000=100,000,000,000/1

90% dummies thus is soo easy

Every fraction is an exercise in division. The top number (numerator) is divided by the bottom number (denominator). If you perform the calculation (which is easy if you have a calculator) then the answer appears in the form of a decimal fraction.

16/100 its that easy!!

4 3/4. easy, peasy, lemon squeezey.

937 tats so easy

it;s easy it is 5 because it says one eight so it doesn't reach the number it needed to change the whole number

Divide a number by 11. If the quotient is a whole number, it's a multiple.

The ratio of 5 to 6 as a fraction is 5/6. What you need to remember in doing problems like this is that the first number corresponds to the numerator (top number) in the fraction, and the second number corresponds to the denominator (bottom number) in the fraction. This ratio 5 to 6 is basically saying "5 parts out of 6" and therefore is easy to turn into a fraction... but only if you think of it this way. :-D Good luck! Jackie
