The largest lightning Storm on earth is the one in Martinez, CA it hit 10.93 lightning bolt's.

It was the one in Sacramento Valley, CA. It lasted more then 8 hours. almost 2 days so it was way way way longer then 8 hours.

I don't think people could get to sleep very easily.
