Unless there is a common factor, LCM is the product. 42 = 2 x 3 x 7; 66 = 2 x 3 x 11. There are common factors of 2 and 3 so one occurrence is to be ignored when multiplying ie 2 x 3 x 7 x 11 so LCM = 462 (11 x 42, 7 x 66)
