It's a measurement of volume (as in capacity) and can be described as a cube where each side is 1cm long. If you image a die (as in what you roll in Monopoly) that is 1 cm tall, 1cm long, 1 cm wide, then that die's volume is 1 cubic cm.
The answer is the volume of one tenth of a cubic metre. One cubic metre divided by ten.
Answer: 0.1 metre3
What is a Decimetre?
A decimetre is a unit of measurement and it is used to define a linear dimension. A linear dimension is a measurement taken in a single dimension or direction.
The 'deci' prefix denotes a portion equal to one tenth^ of the whole [metre]. One deci~metre is therefore equal to one tenth of one metre. This can be represented as either 0.1m or, 10cm [ten centimetres].
What is meant by the term Cubic?
The cubic measurement of an object is also known as its 'volume', or V. Three opposed linear dimensions [as described above] are required in order to calculate a volume. Typically, these three linear dimensions are assigned the names: length; width and height [l, w & h].
The relationship between these measurements is explained by the following equation:
V [m3] = l [m] x w [m] x h [m]
^ Point of interest: Whilst the term 'Decimated' is often used nowadays to refer to a relatively significant reduction [of say force or capability] the term originated from the splitting up of groups of soldiers into ten, equal 'sub-groups'.

1 000 000 cubic centimeters = 1 cubic meter
Cubic centimeters are equal to milliliters. 1 cubic cm = 1 mL
1 liter is 1 cubic decimeter or 1,000 cubic centimeters. 2.8 liters are 2,800 cubic centimeters.
1 cubic foot = approx 28,316.8 cubic centimeters (rounded)
