Perimeter:20 inches
Area:35
A rectangle with a perimeter of 36 units can have sides of any length as long as the lengths of the two differently-sized sides are equal to 18. For example, a rectangle with sides of 10 units and 8 units (don't forget to state what these units are, whether they are inches or centimetres or any other similar measurement), would have a perimeter of 36.
The greatest area for a fixed perimeter will be when all the sides are equal or when the rectangle approaches the shape of a square.
70 inches.
If that's a rectangle, the perimeter is 24 inches and the area is 27 square inches.
the perimeter is the sum of the length of every side of the geometrical figure. In your case, since you have 4 sides two of which are equal, the perimeter would be 2*(a+b) where a and b are the length of two sides
A parallelogram is a "sat-on" rectangle; opposite sides are equal in length → perimeter = 7 + 11 + 7 + 11 inches = 36 inches.
The perimeter is 60 inches
Perimeter = 2*(5 + 7) = 24 inches.Area = 5 * 7 = 35 square inches.
area = base X height if rectangle is 4 inches by 8 inches it the area would be 32 inches perimeter = sum of the length of the 4 sides...so in the rectangle above you have 2 sides at 4 inches and 2 sides at 8 so the total of those 4 sides will be 24 inches

A rectangle has a perimeter of 28 inches. The length of one pair of sides is 8 inches per side. What is the length of each of the other sides? Six in.

These two plane figures do not have a common perimeter. As the opposite sides of a rectangle are of equal length then only the measurements of two adjacent sides are needed to calculate the perimeter. (Perimeter = 2A + 2B, where A and B are the lengths of adjacent sides) However, a trapezium does not necessarily have any of its sides of equal length and therefore all four sides have to be measured to determine the perimeter.
Perimeter is the measurement of all sides of a figure. For example, if you have a rectangle that has 2 sides of 4 inches long and 2 sides of 8 inches long, the perimeter is the total of all sides, which in this case is 24 inches.
