To get the frequency, divide the number of waves (10) by the time it takes for those waves to pass (20). The answer is in hertz. The period is the reciprocal of the frequency.

There is not enough information to determine the wavelength.

The period of a wave of 10 Hz is 1/(10 Hz) = 0.1 seconds. It doesn't matter what speed it's traveling at.

(And "moves at 360 ms" is meaningless. You probably mean "360 m/s"?)

Time period = 1 / frequency. Frequency = 1 / time period. The frequency is 90 cycles per second = 90 Hz Period = 11.111111111 ms (milliseconds).

How many hertz are in the sun?

Frequency, in Hertz is the inverse of Period. Given that our sun poofs and puffs once every 11 years, we can state that frequency is the inverse of that Period. You are welcome to figure out how many seconds there are in this period -- and from there arrive at the frequency you seek.

What is the period of a 1000 Hz signal?

The period of a 1000 Hz signal is the time it takes to complete one cycle or revolution of the signal. The formula to calculate the period from the frequency is: T=frac1f where T is the period in seconds and f is the frequency in Hertz. Plugging in the given frequency of 1000 Hz, we get: T=frac11000 T=0.001 Therefore, the period of a 1000 Hz signal is 0.001 seconds or 1 millisecond. This means that one cycle of the signal repeats every 1 millisecond. You can also use this online calculator to convert between frequency and period.

What is the period of the waves that take 2 seconds to make a complete cycle?

depends on what type of vibration the vibrations that are counted in atomic closcks are multiple billions of times a second and the vibration of the earth or RESONATION is 6hertz im pretty shure and the vibration of the movement of the earth is one pulse every year a rediculusly long wavelength be more spesific

What is the Hz of an ocean wave?

-- If the ocean waves lap the shore every 15 seconds then their frequency is 1/15 Hz.-- If the waves come every 30 seconds then the frequency is 1/30 Hz.-- If the waves come every minute (60 seconds) then their frequency is 1/60 Hz....etc.In general, the frequency of ocean waves, and any other waves, is1/the number of seconds between consecutive waves

What is the frequency of a wave when one wave passes in 8 seconds?

Frequency is measured in Hertz (Hz), which is the number of wavelengths that pass in one second. Since one wavelength is passing every eight seconds, the frequency is 1/8 Hz.
