Assuming that by a difference of 1 you mean rolling a pair (2) of dice and then subtracting the two numbers that you get individually on each die. Well there are 36 total possibilities. To get a difference of 1 you need a 6&5, 5&4, 4&3, 3&2, or 2&1.

That represents 10 chances. not getting this is 36-10 = 26 chances.

So the probability = 28 / 36 = 7/9.

If you roll the die often enough the probability is near enough 1 so as to make no difference. On a single roll, the probability is 1/2.

How do you get the probability of three dice rolls?

The probability of 3 specific dice rolls is the probability that each one will happen multiplied together. For instance, the probability of rolling 2 then 6 then 4 is the probability of all of these multiplied together: The probability of rolling 2 is 1/6. The probability of rolling 6 is 1/6. The probability of rolling 4 is 1/6. Multiply these together and we get the total probability as 1/216

What is the probability of rolling a 3 and then 1 of six side dice?

The probability of rolling the 3 is (1/6).The probability of rolling the 1 is (1/6).The probability of rolling the 3 and then the 1 is (1/6) x (1/6) = (1/36) = about 2.78% (rounded)

What is the probability of rolling a 7 or 11 with two dice?

The probability of rolling a 7 with 2 dice is 6/36; probability of rolling an 11 is 2/36. Add the two together to find probability of rolling a 7 or 11 which is 8/36 or 2/9.
