Statistics allows a powerful set of methodologies to take information from political processes (e.g.) wars; governments; elections) and use them to make deductions about the characteristics of those processes (e.g.) their frequency of occurrence, distribution, and expected outcomes) and inferences beyond the data (i.e.) we can use statistics to make predictions about future outcomes with a proper model).

Actually, statistic as a course and profession was intially regarded as a political science before a pure science .

intially, a statis is one whois skilled in state affairs. in order word is one who knows everything that concern the politic, And individual is been know as a POLITICIAN.

And statistic as in then was defined as a branch of political science which deals with the collection,classification and discussion of issue/facts which affects the state or community. In our present state of civilization and technological know how STATISTIC is been defined as an aspect in mathematic which deals with the collection,analysis and summarization of datA INFORMATION into simplier form for sole aim of making the data understandable

In a democratic system of Government, statistic is highly needed in order perform some important issues in the Government. Quantitative data in statistic help a democratic system to on simple majority. that is casting your votes in an election. because a quantitative data is that type of that can be expressed as numbers E.g the numbers of gils and boys in a particular geograptical location. thanx
