Surface Area of prisms is this formula:

SA=LA+2B

SA being surface area.

LA being lateral area which is perimeter of the base times the height.

2B being 2 times the area of the base.

So find LA and the area of the base times 2 and then add them both up.

What is the formula of a rectangler prism?

First of all, there is no such word as "rectangler".Second, there is no single formula for a rectangular prism or for any other shape. There are different formulae for the volume, surface area, number of faces, Euler characteristic, length of principal diagonal or other aspects.First of all, there is no such word as "rectangler".Second, there is no single formula for a rectangular prism or for any other shape. Surface area and volume of a right prism?

The surface are of a right prism is equal to twice the area of its base plus the perimeter of the base multiplied with the height of the prism. The volume can be determined by multiplying the Area of the base by the height of the prism.

The area of the base of a prism is 22cm2.The volume of the prism is 264cm3.What is the height of the prism?

264/22=12 Therefore, the height is 12cm

Formula for volume of triangular prism?

To find the volume of a triangular prism, find the area of one of the triangles (base of the prism) first (base x height divided by 2). When you have the area of the triangle, then multiply the area of the triangle by the height of the prism, *not the height of the base.

What is the surface area of a prism?

The surface area of a prism is the two bases and all the sides A = 2 *area of base + Perimeter of base * Height of prism.

The volume of a right prism is the area of the base times the height of the prism?

Yes.

How do you find base area of rectangular prism if you know volume and height?

Volume of a rectangular prism = base x height. If volume and height are known, solve for base area by dividing volume by height.
