(kilo)meters per second would be the SI standard.
That said, in America people tend to use feet per second or miles per hour.
The official unit for speed would be meters/second, but kilometer/hour are also often used in practice. The conversion factor is 1 meter/second = 3.6 km/hour.
The SI unit for speed is meters per second.
The SI unit for speed and velocity are the same: meter per second (m/s)
s of course it is unit in SI system.........according to it..........
Velocity is comprised of a speed part and a direction part. (any SI unit of length)/(any SI unit of time) is a unit of speed. The simplest one, in SI base units, would be meters/second . Direction is most often stated as an angle.
Speed is measured in metres per second.
The International System of Units (SI) has two type of units, base units and derived units. Speed is a derived unit. Its unit is Meter/sec. Its a scalar quantity.
1.6 km per hour
The SI unit for speed is meters per second.
The SI unit for speed and velocity are the same: meter per second (m/s)
The base unit of time in the SI system is the second.
Kilogram is the SI unit for mass.
Its SI unit is Ampere metre or Am.
I say miles that's how the car does it; and kilometres in the SI system.
s of course it is unit in SI system.........according to it..........
The kilogram or kilogramme is the base unit of mass in the International System of Units(SI).
Distance: Meters (or metres) Speed & velocity (meters per second). velocity also needs a direction but that isn't defined by SI units.
Velocity is comprised of a speed part and a direction part. (any SI unit of length)/(any SI unit of time) is a unit of speed. The simplest one, in SI base units, would be meters/second . Direction is most often stated as an angle.
