f(x)= (x-7) /(-2x+7)(2x+5)

set -2x+7=0

-2x=-7

x=7/2

set 2x+5=0

2x=-5

x=-5/2

x=7/2 and x=-5/2 are vertical asymptotes.

What is the answer for x minus 3 over x plus two?

Solve? 2 is where the right piece of this function crosses the X axis, but the vertical asymptote is important here.(X - 3)/(X + 2)divide both terms, top and bottom by X- 3/X divided by 2/Xsame as- 3/X * X/2= - 3/2========the vertical asymptote

What is the horizontal asymptote of f x equals x squared minus 9 divided by x squared minus 4?

y = 1. When the degree of your numerator is the same with the degree of your denominator, then y = the ratio of the leading coefficients of the numerator and denominator is the horizontal asymptote.

How do I determine the domain and the equation of the vertical asymptote with the equation f of x equals In parentheses x plus 2 end of parentheses minus 1?

The domain of the function f(x) = (x + 2)^-1 is whatever you choose it to be, except that the point x = -2 must be excluded. If the domain comes up to, or straddles the point x = -2 then that is the equation of the vertical asymptote. However, if you choose to define the domain as x > 0 (in R), then there is no vertical asymptote.

What is minus?

minus (negative) A negative number multiplied or divided by a negative is a positive. Then, multiplied or divided by another negative gives you a negative. A negative added to a negative is a negative. So adding a third negative is still a negative. Subtracting a - from a - is a -. So, subtracting a third - is still a -. No matter what operation you do, three negatives is a negative.
