At their point of crossing, the space between two crossnig line is 0.

From any point on either line you can always drop a perpendicular to the other line and this will be the shortest distance from that point to the other line.

When there is a transversal of two lines the three lines are coplanar?

Normally, yes. A transversal contemplates crossing two (normally parallel) lines in conversations about two dimensional space and the relationship of certain angles. If you are talking about three dimensions, all bets are off. Two skewed lines in three dimensional space could would have a line that connects them but none of them would be coplanar.

How many broken white lines are in a mile?

One mile is 5,280 feet. Measure one white line and one space between the lines and add them together. Divide that sum into 5,280 and then divide by 2 and subtract 1. (assuming the length of the lines and spaces are the same.) ex: line = 5ft, space = 5ft. divide 5,280 by 10 = 528 - 1 = 527 white lines. CORRECT ANSWER: Since per the department of transportation regulations, the length of a white line is 20 feet long with a 10 foot space between the white lines, you get one white line every 30 feet, divide 5280 by 30 and you get 176 white lines per mile.
