If you look on a multiplication chart you will see several that will work. Let me suggest 24, 48, 72 and so on.
24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144 +24 . . .
No 36 / 8 = 4.5 (Not a whole number, therefore 8 does not go into 36)
It would be 16. The sequence is doubling pairs. 3 and 4 go on to be 6 and 8. 6 and 8 would go on to be 12 and 16. 12 and 16 would go on to be 24 and 32, and so on.
Th number is 12*8 = 96
12 cannot go into 107 because 107 is a prime number. but, 12 goes into 108 9 times
Let the number be x Therefore, 12 less than a number is x-12.
672
they all go into 120
6
No 36 / 8 = 4.5 (Not a whole number, therefore 8 does not go into 36)
The number 12 can go into 102 a total of 8 times.
2 8/2 = 4 10/2 = 5 12/2 = 6
It would be 16. The sequence is doubling pairs. 3 and 4 go on to be 6 and 8. 6 and 8 would go on to be 12 and 16. 12 and 16 would go on to be 24 and 32, and so on.
The smallest number that 8 or 12 or 20 will all go in to is 120 120 = 20 x 6 = 12 x 10 = 8 x 15 as there is then no number that goes into 6 and 10 and 15 equally.
Th number is 12*8 = 96
12 cannot go into 107 because 107 is a prime number. but, 12 goes into 108 9 times
8 is less than 12.
12-8 = 4 and 2*4 = 8
