We go to school (longer than the US), we pay taxes (more than the US), we eat (less than the US), we make money on oil (more per capita than the US) and we're a part of the world trend of globalization and internationalization. We have Mcdonalds and coke just like the rest of the world:) Our geography is similar to that of Cananda, only in miniature. And we too sometimes like to think we live in the best country in the world (but we have the UN surveys to back it up).

The government is very strict about who's allowed to own weapons. You need a license and everything.

Norway is considered a peaceful country; the police doesn't even carry guns on patrol.

If you get fired or lose your job, you are given enough money to live normally.

The average Norwegian is paid 50000 dollars a year.

A small bottle of coke costs 3 dollars.

Norwegians eat a lot of seafood.

You need to be 18 years old to smoke and drink alcohol.

You need to be 16 years old to have intercourse.

School is free.

The average Norwegian IQ is 101, compared to the average American IQ, which is 90. (This doesn't show who's the smartest though, because IQ tests are only based on maths and logic)

Hopefully you know a bit more about Norway now.. :P

I would say mostly that Norwegians can be pretty hard to get to know. Maybe not so much in the cities, but on the country-side Norwegians can be kinda close minded
