What 2 numbers multiplied together equal negative 5?

1*(-5) 5*(-1) Those are the only two whole number equations that equal (-5). If you are looking for more than just whole numbers any two numbers you can multiply to equal positive 5, if you make one value negative your product will become negative. (i.e. 2*2.5=5 | (-2)*2.5=(-5))

What are square number?

Square numbers are the products of numbers that have been multiplied by themselves like 2 x 2 = 4, or 9 X 9 = 81. The squares here are 4 and 81.Numbers that can be made by multiplying another number my itself, like 12 x 12 = 144. So 144 is a square number.By convention and probably also by definition, square numbers and square roots (the numbers multiplied by themselves) are always whole numbers, integers with no factional or decimal parts.A square number is the result of any non-zero integer multiplied by itself.9 is a square number because 3 x 3 = 9.5 is not a square number because there isn't an integer that can be multiplied by itself to make 5.

The average of 3 consecutive even is 37. what are the numbers?

If the average of 3 numbers is 37 then the sum of those numbers = 37 * 3 = 111. Which is an odd number. Adding together even numbers never results in an odd number. Therefore the 3 numbers can not be even numbers; consecutive or otherwise. The question can not be answered.

What are near perfect numbers?

They are numbers that are NEAR PERFECT. a near perfect number is when its factors (exept the actual number) are added up and ALMOST equal the number ex. 16x1/2x8/4x4/ so its factors are 1,2,4,8 and 16 so add them ( exept the actual number) 1+2+4+8=15 so its NEAR PERFECT and a perfect number is a number that all its factors equal to its number ex. 6-1,2,3,6 are its factors all together-1+2+3=6 those are NEAR PERFECT and PERFECT numbers

How do you find the length of a rectangular box with a volume of 480?

The volume alone doesn't tell you the length. The volume is the answer when you know the length, width, and height ... four numbers all together. In order to find any one of those numbers, you have to know the other three.

When two numbers are multiplied together the answer is 10000000 neither of the two numbers contain a zero . what are they?

They cannot be integers or whole numbers; but they can be numbers with decimals. There are many possibilities; if the numbers are the same, then that is the square root of 10000000 which is 3162.277666...repeating. Those same numbers multiplied together = 10000000. If numbers are different, there are other combinations, all involving decimals
