Why is calculus so interesting?

Because calculus applications are almost infinite. In fact, every branch of science uses calculus : physics, chemistry, biology, social studies, economics, etc. Calculus is a universal language that can be used to answer bunches of questions. Using calculus, you can solve various problems including the acceleration of planets in orbit, the kinetic energy of a car in motion, the equivalence point of a chemical reaction, the maximal profit a business can make, the lenght of any curved figure or the area and volume of eccentrical shapes, the electric field produced by a charged object, ... Calculus is interesting because you can use it everywhere!

How do you calculate the length of the curve using calculus?

Do a line integral.

Why is calculus interesting?

Calculus is interesting because it is incredible that human intelligence has discovered a way to solve a problem using a formula that can be repeated. Calculus is not necessarily about the numbers, but about the fact that we can apply rules and theories to numbers in a variety of situations.

What Example problems using calculus?

You can find LOTS of problems, often with solution, by a simple Google search, for example, for "calculus problems". Here is the first hit I got:https://www.math.ucdavis.edu/~kouba/ProblemsList.html

Why is calculus so hard?

Calculus in itself is not hard, it is usually remembering the algebra and previous math classes that is hard. New concepts are introduced in Calculus, but isn't it the same with any new subject? For example, many problems in integration, the actual calculus is not the hard part, it is using all of the algebra and other concepts you have used your whole life to simplify the problem so it is easy to solve.

Mass can be measured by using a triple beam balance, in grams. Or, simply weigh your desired object and do the necessary conversion.

How could you measure the perimeter of a round object using a ruler?

Wrap the strip of paper around the plate or can and mark it where it completes a full circle around the object. Then lay the strip on a flat surface and measure the marked length using the ruler. That length is the perimeter (circumference) of the round object.

How to measure a circle in liters?

You cannot. A circle is a 2-dimensional object which has an area but no thickness and, therefore, no volume. A litre is a measure of volume. You cannot measure an object with no volume using units that are intended for volume.
