According to The Physics Factbook, the diameter of human hair ranges from 17 to 181 µm. A micrometer (British spelling: micrometre) symbol µm, is one millionth of a meter, or equivalently one thousandth of a millimeter. It is also commonly known as a micron. It can be written in scientific notation as 1×10^−6 m, meaning 1/1,000,000 m.
I would either use Micrometers or Millimeters
Hair is a threadlike and keratinous filament that grows on the skin of humans, mammals, and other animals. Its diameter varies from 17 to 180 micrometers.
Units can be metric or inch - normal diameter .050mm to .076mm or .002" to .003"
80 thousand nanometer
Probably micrometers.
The milimeter.
I would use millimetres.
A micrometre would be appropriate.
I find the best way is to get a piece of string and place it at the top of your head. Pull it tight and measure out where the average lenght of your hair is. Then measure the string, to find the actual length. Otherwise, a pretty easy (but less exact) way is to take a ruler, place it against the side of your head with the 0 inches at the top of your head and measure to where your hair falls.
For the diameter of hair the best unit is micrometre.
hygrometer used to measure density of relative humidity in air by using a sensory element such as a hair
If your hair is attached to you and you are an animate object than no but if your hair was not attached to you (fell out) than I guess it would be inanimate. :)
A micrometer (μm) is a distance. Things that are millionths of a meter long or thick (microbes, radio waves, hair diameter, thread, thickness of layers of paint, ...)A micrometer is also measuring tool or instrument. A micrometer can typically measure to an accuracy of 1 thousandth of an inch or an accuracy of 1 hundredth of a millimeter. Micrometers are used by Engineers to measure and to check the size of parts which they make.
Units aren't used to measure anything. After you complete the measurement, using equipment suited to the purpose, you use units to describe the result of your measurement, and to tell other people about it. I would measure the thickness of a hair using a micrometer, and express the result in millimeters.
Thickness of hair. However, most measurments at that level of precision would be made by scientists and they would use SI units, not pointless units like inches.
It depends on what you are measuring the width of. Different units and different tools would be appropriate for a hair, a car or a galaxy.
Because they have to measure length of hair to cut
the normal length of a hair would be 18-20 cm :P :) BD
i would say if your hair was to your elbows

the scatter plot would look all messed up and hard to follow.
Depend on length. Measure approx. length, multiply inches by 8 that's how many days.
No,before you cut your hair you are to measure it then cut so your hair can be at a regular inch, because I cut mines and it's the inches 2-4 crazy huh?
She doesnt wear extensions but were not quite sure about it. you'd have to meet her and ask if you could measure her hair length but that is very awkward
Eight inch extensions should do it.
