salt dissolve quicker in hot water because it practicaly melts the salt there fore making it quicker to dissolve.
The bigger the solid the less surface area there is to be reacted with. If you broke the same solid into many different pieces it would dissolve quicker because there is more surface for the reaction to take place.
If you want to make materials dissolve faster, and your adding stuff to a drink, like lemonade, maybe you would cut up the little sugar cubes even smaller, so that the liquid has less to dissolve; and if you stir the drink after adding all the ingredients together, the particles will collide with each other and make the dissolving even faster. !
Jelly doesn't actually dissolve it only melts so if you put it in warm water it would seem like it dissolving but it's really melting!Is what some simpleton said. But what realy happens is... The particles dissolve into the wather. And it cant dissolve in cold water

when water is added to water...nothing happensit just stays the same it is stillWATER!!!!!Its volume increases and its mass increases but, amazingly, its density remains the same.
warm water because at a higher temperature the water molecules have more energy and can move faster therefore they are able to break down the molecules in the jelly babies quicker than in cold water
if the water is cold then the crystal will take time to dissolve as particles move slowly when in cold water. therefore, after 5 minutes it will still be the same or if its normal water it will start to diffuse slowly.
