There is a new book called 'Solving Stonehenge' that explains how the prehistoric surveyors went about setting it out with ropes and pegs. If you follow the geometric method they used (using a compass and a straight edge) you will get an absolutely perfect match for the positions of the stones. To show how it was done two guys laid it out on the ground (every stone position, and at full size) in two hours.

Did druids build the Stonehenge?

No, This seems to be a popular belief but completely incorrect. First of all Stonehenge is much, much older than the Druid order. The word Druid literally means "Knowing the oak tree" and they use to worship in the forest / woods and did not use buildings when they performed their rituals.

How do you build a model city?

You can use a variety of things. For my model city, I used some foam board to give it a nice base before using other foam shapes in order to build the towers and other houses. It just depends on what you want to make it out of, but I do recommend the foam board.

What was the architectural system used in constructing Stonehenge?

There are probably hundreds of myths and legends about Stonehenge. Various people have attributed the building of this great megalith to the Danes, Romans, Saxons, Greeks, Atlantes, Egyptians, Phoenicians Celts, King Aurelius Ambrosius's, Merlin, and even Aliens. One of the most popular beliefs was that Stonehenge was built by the Druids. These high priests of the Celts, constructed it for sacrificial ceremonies. It was John Aubrey, who first linked Stonehenge to the Druids. Additionally, Dr. William Stukeley, another Stonehenge antiquary, also claimed the Druids were Stonehenge's builders. Stukeley studied Stonehenge a century later than Aubrey and became so involved in the study of the Druid religion that he himself became one. Through his work he was very instrumental in popularizing the theory that Stonehenge was built by Druids.

Where can I find Model of A-1 Skyraider Airplane i?

Look under AD (not A-1) Skyraider model kit if you want to build a plastic model yourself. Also, warplanes.com has wooden models made to order. Search for Tamiya A-1 Skyraider. It is a 1/48 scale---very large model. There was one old kit built in the 1960's that was same scale. Nice model.
