Cylinder 1-3-4-2
1-3-4-2
1, 3, 4, 2, Clockwise.
2.2L 1-3-4-2
The firing order for a 1990 Chevy Cavalier 2.2 is 1-3-4-2. The number one cylinder is closest to the front of the engine.
if this is anything like my 96 cavalier engine, it should be the left most cylinder as you look down on the engine, probable firing order would be 1, 3, 2, 4 [1] [2] [3] [4] front of car
Cylinder 1 is @ the drive belt side of the engine(passenger side), and Cylinder 4 is closest to the transmission side of the engine(driver side).
The firing order goes as follows 1-3-5 2-4-6
Chances are it is. You look under the hood. If there is 1 valve cover it is an L-4
Firing order 1-3-4-2 --- front | 1 | | 2 | of | 3 | vehicle | 4 | --- distributorless ignition
Both 4-cyl. Cavalier engines firing order is: 1-3-4-2
You need to turn the wheel (about 1/4 inch) to relieve the pressure while you turn the ignition.
