The exhaust system has two banks. Each bank has two oxygen sensors. Bank one is on the driver's side. Oxygen sensor 1 is between the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter. Oxygen sensor 2 is behind the converter.
Per the manual, it's either 30 gallon or 44 gallon if gas, 42 gallon if diesel.

there are two sensors on a 2000 metro one right after the exhaust manifold and one after the convertor they unscrew like a spark plug if you cant get them out with an adjustable wrench there is a special socket you can get at any auto parts store. then they just unplug at the connector rout the new ones just like the old ones
The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. It's a good idea to remove the wires one at a time to avoid headaches. Mark them with a peice of tape with the cylinder number on them.
Just unplug the electrical connector and then unscrew the oxygen sensor out of the exhaust pipe.
