Aircraft fly in the direction of their destination regardless which way around the world that may be. That's a trick question. To an observer standing at the North Pole, a plane flying east to west is going clockwise. To an observer standing at the South Pole, a plane flying west to east is going clockwise. And, of course, some planes fly over the poles. But if you only consider planes that are flying east/west, they are going both clockwise and counterclockwise, depending on which direction you are viewing them from.
Clockwise and counterclockwise are opposite directions of motion.Clockwise motion (negative mathematical direction) designates circular motion around a pivot point similar to that of the hand of a timepiece - e.g. top, then right, then bottom, then left, then top again.Counterclockwise motion (positive mathematical direction) designates the opposite direction of motion - e.g. top, then left, then bottom, then right, then top again.
Clockwise refers to the movement of the hands on a clock, they move around to the right.
Around 2000 million Muslims.
They are around 1600 million Muslims, as of October 2009 per Pew Forum study.
Clockwise.
In the northern hemisphere wind blow around high-pressure systems in a clockwise direction. In the southern hemisphere, the wind blow is in the opposite (anticlockwise) direction.
what stupid question by the way it is anti clockwise
drive normally clockwise but if you drive around anticlockwise you would have to reverse all the way and that would be very slow and annoying lol
anticlockwise
For many reasons, among them:It is ritual worships that not subject to debate. Otherwise you may ask; for example; why praying for Maghrib is three Rakaats or why hajj (pilgrimage) is in specific days of the year.In all sciences anticlockwise direction is defined as the positive direction and the clockwise direction of spin is negative. So, it is logic to turn in positive direction.Another philosophical personal reason, to open a normal screw bolt you turn it anticlockwise, so turning anticlockwise is a relieve of any tied-up problem.
Depends on your perspective, doesn't it? Having said that, if you're looking at our galaxy from a "top" view (i.e. down towards the Earth's north pole), then Mars, like everything else in the galaxy, revolves around the Sun in a counter-clockwise direction.
The direction of the moon revolution around the earth is from left to right. This is also known as anticlockwise motion.
Kaaba is the direction to which all Muslims orient themselves during the daily praying.Kaaba is the place that all Muslims during pilgrimage (Hajj or Omra); or before/after praying; move around (anticlockwise) for seven times as one of the ritual worships.
Counter clockwise.
An insightful question. In the northern hemisphere, the gnomon on a sundial will have its shadow travel around the face, and in a clockwise direction! In the southern Hemisphere the travel will be anticlockwise. But the Northern guys got there first, hence clockwise. [Likewise, the northern guys named their pole North, and that settled that issue!] Even arbitrary can sometimes have logic behind it.
Lactic acid has a chiral carbon atom or a carbon atom with four different groups attached to it. So lactic acid exists in two different forms d-lactic acid and l-lactic acid. The four diferent groups of around the chiral carbon are arranged clockwise in one isomer and anticlockwise in the other.the groups arranged in the clockwise direction rotate plane polarised light to right and the groups arranged in the anticlockwise direction rotate it to left.
