I'm hanging a picture and I want it to line up exactly between two other objects that are an inch and a half apart.
You need two numbers to find something halfway between them.
We're going to need that other number.
There need not be any prime number between them.
The median is the middle number in a list of numbers. To find the median, you must first put the numbers in numerical order.6.0, 6.2, 6.2, 6.7, 7.6, 8.1Then, since there is an even amount of numbers in this sequence, you need to find the two middle numbers (If there were an odd amount of numbers, you would just choose the number directly in the middle to be your median).6.2 and 6.7You need to now find the number between these two to get the median. So...6.7-6.2= 0.5 -----> There is a difference of 0.5 between the two numbers.0.5/2= 0.25 ----> Divide the difference to get the halfway point between the numbers6.2+0.25=6.24 ----> Add the halfway point to the smaller number to get your median.Median = 6.24
You cannot. There is nothing between a number. In fact there is nothing between one of anything! You need two things (numbers) before you can have anything between them.
The halfway point from Detroit to Phoenix is very close to Wichita, Kansas.
You need at least two numbers to find something in common between them.
Halfway between means if we put the two numbers on the number line, we find the distance between the two numbers and if we go half that distance we get to the number we are looking for.Now the distance between 500 and 800 is 800-500 or 300.We need half of that which is 150. So now take 500+150=650 or take 800-150 which must also be 650.

i don't have an answer, i need one, pls and thanx
There is a free service you can use called www.meetways.com that allows you to enter two addresses and then a point of interest and it will give you the exact mid point and what is around it that you want to do. When I travel and need to find a good place to stop halfway I use it and just put in hotel to figure out a good place to stop. Hope that's helpful.
Line the numbers up from lowest to highest, and find the middle number. Let n be "how many numbers there are". To find the middle number, find the "(n+1)/2"th number. If this gives you a whole number, the median is the corresponding number in the number line. If "(n+1)/2" gives you a decimal, such as 21.5th number, you need to find the average between the 21st and 22nd number.
