Because differentiation is a measure of the rate of change. A constant does not change (by definition) and differentiating it must give 0.

The differentiation of a constant is zero because a constant value does not change with respect to the variable being differentiated. The derivative measures the rate of change of a function, and since a constant has no change, its derivative is zero.

What is the relation between ordinary differentiation and partial differentiation?

in case of partial differentiation , suppose a z is a function of x and y so in partial differentiation of z w.r.t x all other variables except x are considered to be constant but on the contrary in differentiation process they are not considered as constant unless stated .

What is a non zero constant?

That means the constant has a value that is different to zero. That means the constant has a value that is different to zero. That means the constant has a value that is different to zero. That means the constant has a value that is different to zero.

Can constant velocity be zero?

Yes. Zero velocity is a velocity; if it is always zero then it is a constant velocity.

Zero acceleration will the velocity be constant?

Whenever velocity is constant, the acceleration is zero. This also works when the velocity is zero, the acceleration is zero. That pretty much means the object isn't moving. But, yes/ If velocity is constant, accleration is zero.

When the velocity of a particle is constant its acceleration is also constant?

Its acceleration is zero, which is constant

What is time constant of capacitor when resistance is zero?

Time constant in an RC filter is resistance times capacitance. With ideal components, if the resistance is zero, then the time constant is zero, not mattter what the capacitance is. In a practical circuit, there is always some resistance in the conductors and in the capacitor so, if the resistance is (close to) zero, the time constant will be (close to) zero.

What the degree of any non zero constant?

That degree is zero.

Why a constant's derivative is always zero?

One definition of the derivative is: "Rate of change". Since a constant is constant, it doesn't change, and the rate at which it changes is zero.

Is zero a constant?

Yes. Zero is a constant. So is 1 And 2 And 3, 4, 5 and any number

What is your acceleration if you have a constant velocity?

If your velocity is constant, then your acceleration is zero.

When can the value of cosmological constant become zero?

A zero graph

If displacement of a particle is zero?

If displacement of a particle is zero in a uniform circular motion, then the distance travelled by that particle is not zero, kinetic energy is constant, speed is constant and work done is zero
