100000 in base 10 is 100,000 ( One hundred thousand). All numbers that you read afre in base '10'.

However, for computer purposes you have the binary system , which is in base '2' , because of the 'on/off' ; (+/-) ; (1/0) nature of the system.

There is also hexadecimal , which is base '16' ( 2^(4) ) also used for computer purposes.
