(18 ÷ 20) × 100 = 90
Therefore: 90%
18 ÷ 80 × 100 = 22.5% So the percentage of missed questions is 22.5%
percentage of correct = 66.67%= (18-4)/18 * 100% = 12/18 * 100% = 0.6667 * 100% = 66.67%
There are so many uses it boggles the mind. I will list a few, and perhaps people will add to it over time. * Setting and calculating discounts on sale items at the store * Calculating sales tax * Test scores (percentage correct) * Political polling Rates, and percentage is just a rate (per 100), are useful wherever you want to express one value relative to another value. Percentages become especially useful if you want to compare groups on a fairer basis. For example, if Student A gets 18 questions out of 20 correct and Student B gets 21 questions out of 30 correct, which is the better student? Student B answered MORE questions correctly, but Student A is better because they achieved a higher PERCENTAGE of right answers (18/20=90%). Student B's score, expressed as a percentage, is lower (21/30=70%). But if I had 2 questions and answered them both correctly, I'd be better (2/2=100%)
percentage of 18 = 1800% 18 * 100% = 1800%
18/20 as a percentage is 90%
To calculate the grade, first determine the number of correct answers by subtracting the wrong answers from the total: 95 - 18 = 77 correct answers. Next, divide the number of correct answers by the total number of questions: 77 / 95 ≈ 0.8116. To convert this to a percentage, multiply by 100, giving you approximately 81.16%. Therefore, the grade would be around 81%.
To find the percentage of 18 out of 20 questions, divide 18 by 20 and then multiply by 100. This calculation gives you (18/20) × 100 = 90%. Therefore, 18 out of 20 questions is 90%.
18 ÷ 80 × 100 = 22.5% So the percentage of missed questions is 22.5%
If you received a score of 75 on a 24-question test, you can calculate the number of questions answered correctly by setting up a proportion. You would set up the equation (x/24) = 75/100, where x represents the number of correct answers. Solving for x, you would find that you answered 18 questions correctly on the test.
If you miss 7 out of 25 questions, you correctly answered 18 questions. To find the score as a percentage, divide the number of correct answers by the total number of questions and multiply by 100: (18/25) × 100 = 72%. Therefore, your score is 72%.

It is 77.77... %
18%
That is 75%
percentage of correct = 66.67%= (18-4)/18 * 100% = 12/18 * 100% = 0.6667 * 100% = 66.67%
(12/18)*100 = 66.667%
To calculate test percentages, divide the number of correct answers by the total number of questions, then multiply the result by 100. For example, if you answered 18 questions correctly out of 20, the calculation would be (18/20) × 100, resulting in a score of 90%. This formula applies to any test or assessment where you want to determine the percentage of correct responses.
