Best Answer

60 is a composite number. A Prime number has only two factors: itself, and the number '1'. If a number has any other factors, then it's composite.

As soon as you see that '0' on the end of '60', you know it's a multiple of '10'. In other words,

'10' is a factor of it. You know immediately that it has at least one more factor besides itself

and '1', so it must be composite.

In addition, all even numbers greater than 2 are composite.

Actually, '60' is way more composite than that. Its factors are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, and 60.
