density has a formula:

density=Mass/Volume.

put mass and volume into the equation you have your answer.

note:the values are not in metres and KG. they are in grams and cm. convert hem before you work it out.

The answer depends on the units used for the size of the object. It should be obvious that the volume of the object will be different depending on whether the units are inches, centimetres or something else!

Just divide the mass by the volume, and you'll have grams per cubic centimeter.

In your example, the density is - 95 / 120 grams per cubic centimeter. = 0.792 gm/cm3.

Density of wood = mass/volume

What is the density of the wood block?

Density = Mass/Volume

If a block of wood has a volume of 40 cubic cm and a mass of 30 grams what is its density?

Density is mass divided by volume. This block of wood is therefore 0.75g per cubic cm.

What is the density of a block of wood that has a volume of ml and a mass of g?

since D=m/v... then the density of the block of wood would be mass / volume..... mass in grams divided by volume in ml.

What is the density of a block of wood that has a volume of 20cm and mass of 5 grams?

density is the product of mass and volume so its density will b 100 g/cm3..

How do you find the density of a block of wood?

you weigh the block on a balance get its mass if it is a regular shape block so the volume should be length * weadth * breadth (side * side * side) the density = mass / volume

What is the density of a block of wood with a mass of 120g and a volume of 200cm3 power?

Density = Mass/VOlume = 120g/200cm3 = 0.6 grams per cm3

What is the density of a block of wood if 157grams occupies a volume of 78ml?

The density is 2,01 g/cm3 because the density is ratio between the mass and volume.

This density is 0,8 g/cm3.

What is the density of a block of wood with a volume of 30 cubic centimeters and a mass of 600 grams?

density = mass ÷ volume = 600 g ÷ 30 cm3 = 20 g/cm3

What is the density of a block of wood measuring 9cm2cm6cm with a mass of 5.4 grams?

Density= Volume/Mass. Therefore: (9x2x6)divided by 5.4g=Density. 108cm/5.4g=Density. 20=Density.

What is the density of a block of wood if the mass is 6.9 g and the volume is 2.4 cm3?
