How do you convert Btu's to cubic feet?

Not sure what exactly it is you`re looking for but here goes. If you are talking about a particular fuel: Natural gas contains = 1000 btu per cubic foot. Propane contains = 2500 btu per cubic foot. If you are talking about air conditioning it takes appx 400 cfm of air flow per ton of air conditioning to support it`s proper operation, and a ton of air conditioning = 12,000 btu. You can't.....BTU/Hr is a unit of heat input i.e. Energy. Cu. ft./hr is a measure of volume flow rate. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> If you are talking about Natural Gas divide btu input or output by 1000 for cubic feet of fuel used, propane divide by 2500 btu for cubic feet of vapor used.

To convert Cubic Feet to Btu's, multiply by 1,000 1 CF = 1,000 Btu's 6,912 CF X 1,000 = 6,912,000 Btu's
