I knew a mechanical engineer to told us he was dyslexic. He worked a bit slowly and checked his work.

Although dyslexia is a learning disability, some people do overcome it and become engineers (or enter other demanding professions) anyway.

Yes I am an engineer with profound dyslexia. Just make sure you go to the disabilities office to get the accommodations you may need.

No, that is completely false.

One of the greatest engineers to have ever lived was also dyslexic. He was also an artist and an inventor. His name was Leonardo da vinci.
