False. All squares are rhombuses, but not all rhombuses are squares.

A square is a parallelogram with four congruent sides and four right angles.

A rhombus is a parallelogram with four congruent sides, but it doesn't necessarily have to have right angles.

Squares are special in Euclidean Geometry.

All Squares are Rectangles.

All Rectangles are not necessarily Squares.

All Squares are Rhombi.

All Rhombi are not Squares.

A rectangles has : (4) sides, Each side is equal in length to the side opposite it.

(2) sets of parallel sides

Each interior corner angle is 90 degrees

A rhombus has : (4) sides of equal length

(2) sets of parallel sides

Each interior corner angle is equal to corner in the opposite diagonal direction. It does not have to be 90 degrees. More often than not, 2 angles will be acute (less than 90 degrees) and the other 2 are obtuse (greater than 90 degrees)

A square has: (4) sides of equal length

All interior angles are 90 degrees
