About 25.5mph assuming my math is correct: 5280ft/330=16 16x9.68=2min35sec 60mph/2.6min=25.5mph

The above answer is incorrect. This would be true if it was a constant velocity, but because the runners are starting from a stop you need to factor in acceleration. But again we run into a problem because the acceleration is not constant so calculating the final velocity would be a bit tricky. A time of 9.68 the runner would probably be going close to 30mph.

23.085 mph

Answer:

9.69 secs for 100 meter sprint. That is 96.9 seconds for 1 kilometer; 3600 seconds in an hour, so 3600/96.9 = 37.15 km/hr.

37.15 kilometers per hour (km/hr) x 0.621 = 23.0702 miles per hour (mph).

Converting 100 meters into yards... 100 meters = 109 yards Usain Bolt ran "109 yards" in 9.69 seconds... 109 / 9.69 = 11.2 yards per second The "mythical" 40-yard dash time... 40 / 11.2 = 3.63 seconds!!!!! Simply astonishing!

22.68 mph

You transfer meters to yards. 100 meters = 108.3333 yards...then feet. 108.333*3 = 325
So you travel 325 feet in 100 meters, which is 6.155% of a mile.

Then you turn the seconds into hours. 3600 seconds in an hour, divided by 9.77= .2714% of an hour.

Now you have it in correct units, so you put it in miles per hour. So 6.155/.2714 = 22.68 mph
