It's not clear that this is a legitimate thing to do because a 4-point GPA at one educational institution might have a different interpretation at other institutions that use the 5-point scale. Across the world there is a large range of ways of awarding academic grades. Please see the link.
To convert a 3.0-scale GPA (SGPA) to a percentage, you can use the formula: (SGPA/4.0) x 100. For an SGPA of 8, if we consider it on a 10-point scale, it would be (8/10) x 100, which equals 80%. However, if you're asking about a 3.0 scale, it would be (3.0/4.0) x 100, resulting in 75%. Please clarify if you meant a different scale.
2.5 GPA is an 80% because it is on a weighted scale. Anything from 0% to 59% is still a 0 GPA.
"GPA" is already an abbreviation for "grade point average". There is no further abbreviation for the abbreviation.
A 1.83 point average typically refers to a grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale, indicating that a student’s performance is slightly below a C average. It suggests a mix of grades, with some courses possibly receiving lower grades while others might be slightly higher. This GPA may impact college admissions or academic standing depending on the institution's requirements.
To convert a score of 101.4 to a 5.0 GPA scale, you first need to determine the maximum possible score on the original scale. If the original scale is out of 100, you would divide the score by 100 to get a decimal (1.014) and then multiply by 5. This results in a GPA of approximately 5.07, but since most GPA scales cap at 5.0, the final GPA would be 5.0.

That depends on whether your honors classes were regular high school classes or AP or International Baccalaureate classes, which may have been calculated on a 5.0 GPA scale. A GPA of 4.3 on a 5.0 scale is the equivalent of 3.44 on a 4.0 GPA scale.
To convert a percentage to a 4.0 GPA scale, you can use the following formula: (Percentage - 50) / 10. This means you would take 97.58, subtract 50, which gives you 47.58, and then divide by 10, resulting in a GPA of approximately 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. Generally, a percentage above 90 is considered an A, which corresponds to a 4.0.
