How do you do the list method for least common multiple?

you can use the ladder. But only with two numbers. If its more than 3 numbers you will have to factorize it, or list the prime #'s. (if you don't know what the ladder is, ask your math teacher. If your teacher doesn't know, ask a parent/gurdian, if they dont know than your left with the choice of googling it.)

You need at least two.

Example: 30 and 42

Factor them.

2 x 3 x 5 = 30

2 x 3 x 7 = 42

Select the highest amount of each factor.

2 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 210, the LCM

Factor them.
2 x 3 x 5 = 30
2 x 3 x 7 = 42
Combine the factors, eliminating duplicates.
2 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 210, the LCM

List the multiples.

The LCM is 210.
