The least common multiple of 6 and 10 is 30. Multiples of 6: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60 and so on. Multiples of 10: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 and so on. Here 30 and 60 are common multiples in the first ten multiples. But, 30 is the smallest so LCM is 30. If we continue to write more multiples we will find more common multiples, but the least common is only one.
