If you really want the "least" common factor, then you'll only get one of them. If

there were two of them, then you'd want to know which least common factor was

less than the other least common factor.

The least common factor of 105 and 84 is ' 1 '. In fact, the least common factor of

any two numbers is ' 1 '. So if you want to look at it that way, you'd have to say

that it's also the most common factor. (But not the greatest one.)

The factor pairs of 84 are (84,1), (42,2), (28,3), (21,4), (14,6), and (12,7). The factor pairs of 105 are (105,1), (35,3), (21,5), and (15,7)
