Well, that depends entirely upon what you are measuring. Grams is a unit of mass and a teaspoon is a unit of volume. For instance: If you fill a teaspoon with water it's weight (mass x gravity) is very small. However, if you fill that same teaspoon with lead it would be much heavier. Seeing that gravity doesn't change, nor does the teaspoon...the only thing that changes is the mass (number of grams). So there isn't a set number of grams per teaspoon. It depends upon what you are measuring. This applies no mater how many Grams or teaspoons you are trying to convert.

Ounces can be used either as a measure of weight OR a measure of volume.

It doesn't make sense that a recipe would use 1/8 oz. referring to volume; more likely, it refers to weight.

teaspoons are strictly volume.

Okay, assume it DOES refer to volume.

16 tablespoons = 1 cup
3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon

so, 48 teaspoons (3x16) = 1 cup

1 cup = 8 oz.

So, 1 oz = 1/8 or 48 teaspoons/8

So, 1 oz = 6 teaspoons

1/8 oz = 6/8 or 3/4 of a teaspoon

there is no general equivalence between weight (grams) and volume (teaspoons). If specified the type of powder (and density) might be theoretically possible to determine equivalence, but only if additional information provided

"Gram" is a unit of weight. "Teaspoon" is a unit of volume. You're comparing apples and Oranges. A teaspoon of one substance can weigh .8 grams, 8 grams, or 800 grams depending on density.
