You need to know the molar volume, which is essentially the density. Usually, the density is reported in grams per cm3 (or per mL, which is equal to 1 cm3). First convert the moles into grams (see the Related Questions link to the left for how to do that), and then divide by the density to get the number of cm3 that many moles occupies. Then convert cm3 to dm3 (1 cm3 = 0.001 dm3 or 1 dm3 = 1000 cm3).

say u get the equation C3H8+5O2 ----> 3CO2 +4H2O and you know that there is 10.0 mol of C3H8 (propane) say it asks you for moles of CO2 you would... 10.00molC3H8 x 3molCO2/1molC3H8 the 3 mol CO2 comes from the equation and so does the 1 mol of propane this would give u mol CO2...hope this helps =P

It's not easy to answer to this question: it depends of the temperature and pression of the things you want to convert!

For example, 1 mole of an ideal gas has a volume of 22.4litres at S.T.P. [Standard Temperature and Pressure, 0oC (273K) and 101.3kPa (1 atm)]

No conversion necessary. 1 litre = 1 cubic decimetre

How do you convert 1 cubic centimeters to 1 cubic dm?

1 cm = 0.1 dm; since it is cubic, must cube (x3) the value, so 0.13 = 0.001 dm3

How many cm's cubed in a decimeter cubed?

The volume of 1 cubic decimeter is 1 liter.

How do you convert from m3 to L?

A liter is a cubic decimeter. 10 dm / m So, to convert it to a cube... you get: 10dm*10dm*10dm = 1000dm3/m3 So, to convert particles per liter (= particles/dm3) to particles per m3, you multiply them by 1000.

What is 17 dm in liters?

A dm (decimeter) is a unit of length; a liter is a unit of volumen. You can't convert one to the other.A cubic dm, on the other hand, is exactly the same as a liter.

1 Cubic Meter is how many US Gallons?

To convert cubic meters to (US) gallons, use this conversion factor: 264.2 (there are 264.2 US gallons in one cubic meter of volume). Therefore:cm3 x 264.2 = US gallons

Definition of molarity and its equation?

How do you find mole?

ok moles = concentration x volumemoles is measure in molconcentration in mol/dm^3volume in dm^3so the conc. of an acid is 1.5mol/dm^3 and its volume 100cm^3you must convert cm^3 to dm^3 to do this divide cm^3 by 1000and that i how to work out moles

What is 50 cubic decimeters in cubic centimeters?

1 dm = 10 cm so 1 cubic dm = 10*10*10 cubic cm = 1000 cubic cm. Therefore, 50 cubic dm = 50,000 cc

How do you convert 2.7dm to mL?

1 decimeter is 10 centimeters or 100 millimeters. 1 cubic centimeter is equal to one milliliter. so 2.7 dm would be 27mL, but only if you're trying to convert cubic decimeters to milliliters.

How is 66cm wide 113cm high 43cm deep converted to liters?

A liter is the same as a cubic decimeter, so one way to do this is to convert all measurements to decimeters:66 cm x 113 cm x 43 cm= 6.6 dm x 11.3 dm x 4.3 dmAfter you multiply the three numbers, you get cubic decimeters, or liters.Another way to do this is to multiply the centimeters. The result will be in cubic centimeters.
