Does power come into to lights or switch first?
with your power coming into the switch, you connect the neutral wire (white) to the other white wire that is going to the lights. then the 2 black wires go onto the switch. now that you have the light switched, you just connect the other lights to the first one
See sources and related links below. For two lights just parallel the feeds from the first light with a two wire cable to the second light.
If your wiring it up for a light switch, then you will need 2 3 way switches, this will allow you to turn on and off lights from 2 locations
Wire the two 3 way switches using 3 wire cable (red, black, white and bare). Then connect the first light to the others using two wire cable (black, white and bare) kind of like a daisy chain. The power goes to the first 3 way switch, then switch one goes to switch 2 using the 3 wire cable (even though it has 4 wires in there), then the second switch goes to one of the lights. Hope that helps.
Using 14/2 or 12/2 wire, black, white and bare. Bring the hot/black wire in the light down to the switch on the black wire, through the switch and back to the light on the white wire. Connect the white wire in the power wire to the white wire in the light. Connect the white power wire from the switch to the black wire in the light. Run the black and white wires in the first light to the second light. You should wrap the white power wire from the switch with black electrical tape to cover the white so that the next person realizes it is a power wire.

Just follow the brake pedal up until you find a switch that has a little piston coming out of it up againts the pedal arm itself. It may be a 5 wire switch not a 2 wire switch but in any case it the brake light wire that turns on the brake lights will be the wire that changes to hot (12 volt pos) when the peddal is pressed. Hope this helps.

with a standard 1 pole light switch (one switch operating the light) it is black wire to black wire and white to white (non grounded)
you will need 2-3way switch and 2-4way switch
Tie all the white wires together under a wire nut and push them back in the box. Tie the black incoming power wire and outgoing power wire, if there is one, together under a wire nut with a black wire pigtail. Connect this pigtail to one screw on each light switch. Connect the black wire going up to the lights to the appropriate switch you wish to use to control that light.
If it is a 2-wire switch- yes If it is a 3-wire switch- no
Explain in more detail what you mean. What is between: the switch or the light? What are you trying to accomplish with this setup? The term 3-way switch means 2 switches controlling one or more lights. If you have 2 lights and one switch then you need a standard 75 cent switch. Generally with 3-way switches, there are 3 wires not including the ground, black, white and red. some houses attach the white to the switch, some attach the black. Generally the white will feed through the box not attaching to anything but another white wire. The black will attach to the upper and lower screws on one side of the switch while the red attaches to the opposite side. The red goes to the other switch and black goes to the light fixture(s).
Connect the two batteries for the voltage needed. If they are 12 volt batteries and the lights are 12 volts, connect the batteries in parallel (negative to negative and positive to positive). If they are 12 volt batteries and the lights are 24 volts, connect the batteries in series (negative of one battery to positive of the other). Run a wire from batteries to first switch, then to two of the lights and the other switch (in parallel). From the second switch run a wire to the third light, then connect all three lights back to the battery.
