He wasn't entirely the one who discovered it, but In his way of thinking he did. He also discovered Calculus, (what we call it). So yes, I suppose, he did discover maths.

No, he did not discover math. Ancient civilizations had a good understanding of math including geometry sometimes referred to as sacred math. The Sumerians in particular had an understanding of it. Newton certainly developed aspects of it, but he did not discover it.
