The US Mint website says that the mass of a new, clean penny is 2.5 grams.

I won't go through all the unit conversion here, and I'll just blurt out the answer.

(Just because I have to do all that work, why should you suffer ! ?)

If each penny is 2.5 grams, then you need 2,541 of them to make 14 pounds.
