Many fractions are greater than 1/2. To create one, put any number over 2, for example 1.75/2 is more. To convert this into a proper fraction, you count the number of digits after the decimal point - 2. Call this number y. Multiply the top number and the bottom number by 1 followed by y 0s i.e. 1 followed 2 0s, or 100. This means your fraction is 175/200. This fraction is more than 1/2, but we should put it into it's simplest form.

Oh, dude, anything bigger than 1/2 is greater, like 3/4 or 7/8. Basically, as long as the top number (numerator) is bigger than the bottom number (denominator), you're good to go. So, like, chill out, you've got plenty of options.
