No.

Perfect squares as the squares of the integers, whereas irrational squares as the squares of Irrational Numbers, but some irrational numbers squared are whole numbers, eg √2 (an irrational number) squared is a whole number.

No. 2.25 is not a perfect square but it is rational.

Is negative 90 squared... this is the one with the box around it... rational or irrational and are perfect squares rational or irrational?

-90 squared is rational - it is +8100. All perfect squares are not only rational but they are integers.

Is the perfect square of 64 a rational or irrational number?

It is a rational number - as are ALL perfect squares.

Are radical expressions irrational?

If the value applied in the radical is not a perfect square, it is irrational. 25; 400; and 625 are perfect squares and are rational when applied in a radical.

Is all non-perfect squares irrational?

No. 1.5^2 = 2.25 is rational.

Are all square roots are irrational numbers?

No. The square roots of perfect squares are rational.

Is 89.1212121 rational or irrational?

All terminating and repeating numbers are rational.the square root of non perfect squares and pi are irrational.

What is an irrational number that is a perfect square?

That isn't possible. Rational numbers either terminate or have a repeating pattern, and irrational numbers are all the rest. Perfect squares terminate, therefore they are rational.

Is the square root of 97 rational or irrational?

The square root of ANY positive integer is either a whole number, or an irrational number. Only the perfect squares have whole number square roots; all the rest are irrational. 97 is not a perfect square therefore √97 is irrational.

How are square roots and perfect squares the same?

They are not.

What does irrational in math mean?

Irrational numbers are pi(3.14...), a non-terminating decimal with no pattern(ex.-0.3456789...), and non-perfect squares(ex.-square root of 34).

Which numbers are NOT perfect squares?

In the complex field, every number is a square so there are no numbers that are not squares. If the domain is reduced to that of real numbers, any negative number is not a square. However, the term "square numbers" (not number's!) is often used to refer to perfect square numbers. These are numbers that are squares of integers. Therefore the squares of fractions or Irrational Numbers are non-squares.
