You do not need the GCF nor the distributive property to work out that 24 + 9 = 33.

Also, you seem to be unaware of the fact that you could have obtained the answer much more easily and quickly by using the calculator that comes as part of your computer.

How can you use your knowledge of greatest common factors and the distributive property to write equivalent expressions?

Using my knowledge of greatest common factors and the distributive property, I can tell that 45 + 63 is equal to 9(5 + 7) or 9 x 12, which is 108. Of course, I could also tell that from my knowledge of addition.

How do you simplify 48 plus 18 using the greatest common factor and distributive property?

The GCF of 18 and 48 is 6. If you divide them both by 6, you get 3 and 8 respectively.

How do you use the distributive property to show the greatest common factor of 24 plus 64?

The GCF of 24 and 64 is 8. You use the distributive property to show another way to write the sum. 8(3 + 8)

What is the greatest common factor of 11 and 22 using the distributive property?

It is not possible to give a sensible answer to this question. The greatest common factor (GCF) refers to a factor that is COMMON to two or more numbers. You have only one number in the question! It does not matter whether you use the distributive or any other property; something that does not exist cannot be found!

What is the greatest common factor of 36 and 54 using the distributive property?

The GCF is 18. The Distributive property states that 36 x (50 + 4) = (36 x 50) + (36 x 4)

What is the greatest common factors for 36 and 18 using the distributive property?

Since 18 is a factor of 36, it is automatically the GCF of this problem.

Which kind of expression uses the greatest common factor and the distributive property to find 42 plus 96?

An unnecessary one. 42 + 96 = 138

Which expression uses the greatest common factor and distributive property to find 8 plus W?

The greatest common factor (GCF) refers to a factor that is COMMON to two or more numbers. YOu have only one term "8 + W" in the question so there cannot be a GCF. It is not possible to find any factor (other than 1 and 8 + W, itself, without further information about W.The distributive property has no relevance to this question.
