It all depends where those 36 miles are, and hence what roads will be used and the traffic conditions (which are often based on time of day, and which day it is).

For example, yesterday it took about 70 mins for me to drive my "company car" (a 71 seater, double decker coach) the first 36 miles from base to pickup (in London) towards the destination (on the coast). Later in the day I covered 36 miles in about 55mins (on the return, with a lot of that on the A13). Driving from Birmingham to London a few weeks ago (in the same vehicle) I covered 36 miles in about 35 minutes along the M40.
