Gold is sold in troy ounces, which is a little heavier than a regular ounce.

1 Troy ounce = 31.1 grams, so 0.1 Troy ounce = 3.11 grams

Well, honey, there are approximately 3.11 grams in one-tenth of an ounce of gold. So if you're looking to measure out some bling, now you know how much you're working with. Just don't go losing it in your purse like loose change, okay?

Oh, dude, you're asking me to do math now? Alright, let me put down my bag of chips for a sec. So, there are about 31.1035 grams in one troy ounce, and if you divide that by 10, you get around 3.11 grams in one tenth of an ounce of gold. But hey, who's counting, right?

Well if you go by standard measurements 1/10th ounce is 2.83 grams.

but if it’s 1/10th Troy ounce. (Which I believe should be marked on whatever gold it is. but it’s not.)

then it’s 3.11grams
